HELLO, I AM

BARBARA

The owner, director and Kindergarten teacher at EELC. I began my career in education after earning my BA in Elementary Education from Northwest Nazarene University. I taught in the public school system for a few years, started my family and quickly moved into the field of Early Childhood Development. I fell in love with the field and found that my heart belonged to the little ones. I have over 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Development.

LEANNE

Hello I’m Ms. Leanne! I have been here at EELC since 2006. I started at the age of 16 as an afternoon helper and have worked my way up to assistant director. I am currently finished with my CDA (child development associates) and like to stay up to date with early childhood trainings through Idaho Stars. I love that our school feels like a small family.(Ms. Ryann is my sister) You will often find us out on many staff adventures.

LORI

Hello, I’m Ms. Lori. I have been at EELC since June of 2020. You will usually see me in the morning at drop off doing the front door duties. I truly enjoy my class of little ones. It has been so fun getting to know them.I have four children that live with me and my husband Henry. We love to spend time hiking with our kids (and dogs) playing card games and some serious Mario cart and Mario party as a family.Thank you for this opportunity to work with your child and to make amazing memories with them. Truly so grateful.

JANELLE

Hi everyone! I’m Ms. Janelle! I’ve been at EELC for 7 years and I love that each and every day does not feel like a job, but like spending time with family. I have lived in Boise since I was 7 and I truly love it here. My boyfriend, Drew, and I have been together for just over three years and we live with our sweet old French Bulldog, Gabby. We enjoy spending time camping and on the water, and going to concerts! It’s going to be a wonderful year and I am excited to spend my days with your little ones, thank you for sharing them with me.

RYANN

My name is Ms. Ryann. I have been so blessed to be with EELC for over 20 years! My husband, Greg, and I have been married for 20 years. We have three amazing children, who are all EELC Alumni. Caleb (14) Bennett (12) & Adeline (7).We love to be outside! We like to camp, snow ski, bike ride and make memories together. I received my Childhood Development Associate degree back in 2001 at BSU. I’m currently renewing my CDA certificate and taking online training courses through Idaho Stars. I love being a part of EELC. It’s my home away from home.

CARLA

Hello, I am Ms. Carla! I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I’ve been visiting Idaho nearly my whole life. After raising my family and grandchildren, my husband and I moved to Boise to retire, but sitting still just isn’t for me! I’ve been in the childcare industry for over seven years now and walking in the door to little smiling faces brightens my day! All the children keep me on my toes, they fulfill my heart and keep me young; not to mention in shape! I want to thank each and every parent for trusting me with their child and letting me be a part of their life. They all keep a special place in my heart that I will cherish for years to come!
